Hello & Welcome
As Small Batch Wellness has celebrated ten years, I’ve been rethinking what I want SBW to be, who the clients are and what /whom does it benefit.

One thing became clear long ago...I'm not a fan of performative social media and definitely not keen on the overly romanticized and often science-denying "wellness" industry. If that's you, this isn't really your space.
I lean toward the goofy, the silly, the sarcastic - all wrapped in intellect and curiosity. I believe in knowledge-seeking, never-stop-learning ethos, and in showing up with deep authenticity. I also recognize the privilege I carry, and I try to use it with humility and intention - listening first, learning always, and standing alongside others in the work toward equity.
I want food and nourishment to be accessible, easy to incorporate into our real, messy, and busy lives. I want to name that sometimes we need to make choices that are simply fueling our body and that "good, better, best" is a privilege. Sometimes we don't have the bandwidth, mental load, or executive functioning for elaborate nourishment and nutrition.
I'm not a luxury brand and I sure as heck won't pretend to be online. Sure, I'm a business owner -but I'm also a busy homeschooling parent, co-director at the Maine Doula Coalition, home-cook, and community builder. I'm fiercely rooted in science, inclusivity, and accessibility. Pound sand if you aren't.

I’m not here to overcomplicate things, being overly serious, or pretend I’ve got it all figured out. I’m here to share what I know and what *might* support you (sometimes with a side of sarcasm and swear words).

May it be of benefit,
~Meg (she/her)
