Baked Banana Walnut Smoothie

INGREDIENTS


1 Tbs Ghee

1 Banana

3 -4 Deglet Dates, pitted

1/4 Cup Walnuts

1 1/2 Cups Nut Mylk (not cows)

1 - 2 Tbs Maple



METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Peel and split banana lengthwise

  3. Chop walnut, coat with maple

  4. Pit and chop 3 - 4 Deglet Dates

  5. Place both banana and and walnut on oven safe dish.

  6. Bake uncovered for 10 -12 minutes

  7. Let cool a few minutes then add to wide mouth mason jar (or whatever vessel)

  8. Working with a still warm banana, add optional splash of maple and use an immersion blender

NOTES

Banana can be challenging for a struggling digestion. This is best to wait until about 2 weeks postpartum.
